Busy Bodies Playhouse

Our Story

Creating Connection & Care
in a Crunchy Christian Community

Our Mission:

Our mission at Busy Bodies Playhouse is to create a safe, joyful environment where children can learn, explore, and grow through play, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Guided by a heart of Christian servitude, we are committed to nurturing the whole child while building a supportive community for families.

Through our preschool and family co-op programs, children are encouraged to paint, imagine, explore, and build friendships, while parents have the opportunity to connect, build relationships, and grow in community alongside one another.

Our Vision:
At Busy Bodies Playhouse, our vision has always been to create a place of connection, community, and love. We strive to be a space where families feel welcomed, supported, and surrounded by the love of God the moment they walk through our doors, whether it’s for a quick visit or a full day of learning.

Our hope is that every family we meet experiences the difference of being part of a community that truly cares for and supports one another.

Our environment reflects this mission. Busy Bodies Playhouse is designed as a hands-on learning space where everything is intentionally set at a child’s level. Children are encouraged to explore freely, choose activities that spark their curiosity, and engage with learning in a natural and joyful way.

We believe in nurturing the whole child and giving every child the opportunity to build confidence, develop social skills, and get a meaningful jump start in their learning journey.

 Our Philosophy:

At Busy Bodies Playhouse, we believe childhood should be filled with love, curiosity, and meaningful connection. Guided by a heart of Christian servitude, we strive to create a welcoming community where families feel supported and children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Our program is built around hands-on exploration and child-led learning. Our environment is thoughtfully designed at a child’s level, allowing children the freedom to explore, discover, and engage with activities that spark their curiosity.

Through experiences such as nature exploration, gardening, caring for animals, creative arts, sensory play, music, and early learning activities, children develop confidence, social skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

We believe every child deserves a joyful beginning and every family deserves a community that cares.

About the Owner

Basha Williams

Basha, founder of Busy Bodies Playhouse, has spent over 20 years serving children and families in early childhood education. She began teaching preschool at just 18 years old and earned her Early Childhood Teaching Certificate in California in 2006, followed by her Director of Education Certification in 2008. She later graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Organizational Management with a specialization in Organizational Development.

Throughout her career, Basha has managed, developed, and consulted for childcare centers and franchise programs across multiple states, helping programs grow and strengthen their impact within their communities.

As a Christian, Basha believes in serving families with love, compassion, and purpose. She is deeply passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating spaces where children and parents feel supported, connected, and valued.

As a mother to a blended family of eight children, she understands firsthand the importance of a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and nature-based learning, Basha set out to create a space where children could explore, imagine, and learn through hands-on experiences while parents build community alongside them.

What began as a gathering place for families to connect eventually grew into Busy Bodies Playhouse a unique preschool and community space designed to provide children with a joyful start to learning and families with a place to belong.
